San Clemente Pier

San Clemente Pier, in San Clemente, United States is a popular tourist spot with spectacular views of the ocean and surrounding coastline. The 1,296 feet long grassy pier juts out into the ocean and is always a nice spot to take a morning or evening stroll and take in the sights and sounds of the ocean. A well-equipped bait shop is located at the beginning of the pier. You can fish without a license and the spot is popular for pier fishing. Anglers have success here catching perch, corbina, croaker, and even the occasionalhalibut. San Clemente Pier also features several snack bars, a restaurant and shopping. The pier and beach are excellent spots for surfing, bodyboarding and sunbathing. There’s plenty of sand around the pier and the grassy headland nearby makes an ideal spot to enjoy a picnic lunch. In the evening, catch a brilliant sunset over the pier, beach, and beyond to Catalina Island.
