Kennedy Bridge, in Ditmars Steinway, New York City, is a cable-stayed suspension bridge that connects Manhattan, Queens and Roosevelt Islands. Formerly known as the Triborough Bridge, it was renamed for Robert F. Kennedy, who had served as US Attorney General and Senator from New York, following his assassination in 1968. Opened in 1936, connecting the boroughs of Manhattan, Queens, and the Bronx, it is one of the longest bridges in the United States. The bridge is easily recognizable with its two neoclassical towers, lime green color and its sweeping arc from Manhattan to Queens. Also known as the RFK Bridge, it is famous for its access to all three boroughs, the Manhattan, Bronx and Queens shorelines, and offers breathtaking views of the skyline and the East River.🗺 MapaZobrazit na mapě🎫 Turistické atrakcePodívejte se na turistické atrakce v okolí🏨 UbytovnyPodívejte se na hostely v okolí🌦 Informace o počasíZískejte informace o počasí a mnohem více z aplikace.
