Praia de Carapebus

Praia de Carapebus is located in Balneário de Carapebus, in the state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This beach is a great spot for swimming, diving and fishing, and is especially renowned for its traditional cuisine. Praia de Carapebus is surrounded by two rivers, the Piraque river and the Muriqui river, and is home to a variety of marine life, including crabs, sea turtles and river dolphins! The scenery is stunning, and visitors can also visit the nearby waterfall and old lighthouse. Further up the beach, visitors can explore mangroves and marshes teeming with wildlife.
