Plaza de Toros Monumental de Aguascalientes

The Plaza de Toros Monumental de Aguascalientes is an iconic bullring and national monument in Aguascalientes, Mexico that is known for its magnificent structure and thrilling bullfighting shows. It has a capacity of 17,000 seats and it is considered one of the best bullrings in the country. It was designed by renowned architect Aurelio Leafar and built in 1895 and if you visit it is definitely worth viewing it in person and also taking photographs of the impressive architecture. The bullring is surrounded by structures and gardens that have been declared protected by the National Institute of Anthropology and History. Among its attractions stands out the most original façade, with houses and towers made with stone and original Portuguese tiles. Here you can also find a museum, with several souvenirs and a bronze replica of the bullfighter's Picador.
