Built between 1865-1867 and modeled after Cologne Cathedral, the Paulus Church is a striking red brick building adorned with a striking granite spire rising up to 70 meters into the sky. Inside the church, visitors will find a beautiful interior featuring detailed frescoes, mosaics and stained glass windows. The church also features a 139-bell carillon which is played on the hour from 8am-8pm. Both locals and tourists make their way to the church, not only to explore its exquisite architecture, but to take part in the regular Sunday services.
