Old pier, Great heron

The Old Pier in Tacoma, Washington, is a magnificent sight for travelers and photographers. Built in 1927, it is in the shadow of the Great Heron statue, which was erected in honor of the shipyard workers who built it. Unlike other piers, this one has two levels, one above and one below, offering different views and angles for photographers. It offers breathtaking views of the Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains, making it an ideal location for capturing marine life, landscapes, and sunsets. Despite some parts of the pier being closed for repairs, visitors can still get a good experience and make beautiful memories.
