Neues Rathaus

Neues Rathaus (New Town Hall) is located in the city center of Hannover, Germany and is a stunning piece of Neo-Renaissance architecture. It was completed in 1913 and features a beautiful exterior made of pink and grey sandstone. Inside, you'll find detailed carvings covering the walls, intricate mosaics, high vaulted ceilings and a grand staircase. A highlight of the interior is the Council Chamber, where the city mayor holds meetings. The building was designed by Martin Gropius, a famous German architect, and features many sculptures and artwork from renowned local artists. Visitors can also go out onto the roof terrace, which offers spectacular views of the city. Neues Rathaus is a popular tourist spot and a great place to take a leisurely stroll.
