Murallas de Albarracín

Murallas de Albarracín is an ancient defensive wall located in the city of Albarracín, in the province of Teruel, Spain. It is an impressive fortification dating back to the 11th century, when it was built by the Arabs who had occupied Albarracín at the time. The walls stand 13 meters high and extend for a distance of 3 kilometers, adorned with watchtowers, battlements and keepers. It is one of the most important historical monuments of the city and has been declared a Historic-Artistic Monument. Visitors can explore the walls on foot, taking in the spectacular views of the city, the surrounding countryside and the Sierra de Albarracín mountains.
