Madrid is the capital of Spain and one of the most vibrant and beautiful cities in Europe. Avenida de Niceto Alcalá Zamora is a major thoroughfare in the city, lined with beautiful historic buildings, monuments, and sculptures. As you walk along this avenue, you can admire the eclectic mix of architecture, including neo-classical, modernista (art nouveau), and Art Deco-style buildings. There are also several stately parks, squares, and gardens, as well as monuments and statues celebrating historic figures. The nearby Palacio de Aneto-Alcalá is a great place to explore, and the Plaza de Santa Ana is a popular spot to take a break and people watch.
