It was constructed around 1230 and is located in the Piazza San Rufino. The design consists of a three-level facade, capped by a gabled roof. On the left side of the facade, there is a bell tower with three apses on top of it. Inside the church, there is a large nave with a higher apse set in front of the main altar. The walls are decorated with frescoes, close to Biblical scenes. In the crypt, visitors will find frescoes of the martyrdom of Saint Francis along with two tombs that contain his remains. On the right side of the facade, there is a bell tower with two levels.
