It is located at an elevation of 2,106 meters (6,907 ft) and boasts a 360° panoramic view of the Swiss Alps. The pass is known for its challenging curves, steep inclines and scenic beauty. Popular among cyclists and hikers, the pass provides stunning views of the Gotthard Massif, Glarus and neighboring valleys. Along the course you can find a number of interesting churches, alpine dairy farms, meadows and small towns. You can take photos while on foot, by bike or even while driving the pass.
