Chicago Water Tower

The iconic Chicago Water Tower is located in the famous Magnificent Mile of Chicago, United States. It stands at a height of 136 feet and was constructed in the year 1869. It is one of the few buildings to survive the Great Chicago Fire of 1871. The limestone exterior of the tower is a combination of Gothic and Roman styles and is one of the most significant landmarks of the city. It has now been converted into a tourist information center. The nearby tower plaza provides access to the garden and plaza, while the often overlooked Columbian courtyard offers an abundance of greenery and a peaceful spot to rest.
