Ulmer Münster

Ulm’s Münster (‘Minster’) is the tallest church in the world (528ft) and emerged from the ashes of a previous church, built in the 13th century. Its Gothic features include an impressive intricately sculpted façade with an astronomical clock, which was added in the 15th century. Inside, find ornate stained glass and a breathtaking fresco in the dome, featuring the 12 apostles and 4 evangelists, framed by two 16th century wooden altars.
