Sir Winston Churchill Statue

The Sir Winston Churchill Statue stands proudly in Parliament Square, Greater London, United Kingdom, honouring the iconic Prime Minister of the United Kingdom during World War 2. Designed by Ivor Roberts-Jones and unveiled by Queen Elizabeth in 1973, the statue is 6 meters tall and weighs four tonnes. It is set upon a plinth of Danish granite, which references the granite that Churchill admired so much in his native Cornwall.
