
The Reuterbrücke is an old wooden bridge in the small village of Menslage, Germany. It is approximately 2,400 feet long and crosses the Weser River connecting the city of Bodenwerder to the small villages of Renter and Menslage. It is one of the last remaining wooden bridges of its kind in Europe. Constructed in 1621, the bridge has been a landmark for centuries and is a popular site for tourist and local photographers alike. Take a stroll along the bridge to catch a glimpse of the spectacular views of the Weser River particularly in the evening. Nearby attractions include the 13th century Romanesque St. Remigius church and Zolles Wildlife Park. Photo session permits may be obtained from the local tourist information office.
