Plaza Central Bariloche, in San Carlos de Bariloche, Argentina, is an iconic public space in the area. Located in the heart of the city, it is surrounded by a number of important and noteworthy landmarks. These include Hotel Central, the Municipal Government Palace and the Nahuel Huapi Lake. Popular activities in the plaza include people watching, shopping and enjoying a cup of tea at one of the many local cafes. It is also the perfect spot to admire a stunning view of the Andes Mountains. Be sure to visit the nearby mountaintop amusement park, known as Cerro Otto. You can access the park via the scenic chairlift, and enjoy spectacular views of the city.
