Philadelphia Museum of Art

The Philadelphia Museum of Art is located in Philadelphia's cultural heart, the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. The Art Museum was founded in 1876, and it showcases extraordinary collections of European and American art, as well as works from ancient Egypt, Greece, and Rome. The collections include pieces from popular artists such as Monet, Degas, and Picasso, as well as the largest holding of Rodin sculptures outside of Paris. There are also many contemporary works and pastels from Pennsylvanian artist Alice Neel. Visitors can enjoy a wide selection of works from different period, a library, as well as courts and gardens.
