Palace of Culture and Science

The Palace of Culture and Science in Warszawa, Poland is the tallest building in Poland and one of the tallest on the European continent. Built in 1955, the Soviet-era gift to the people of Poland stands 237 meters (777 feet) high and features an impressive neoclassical/Stalinist architecture. The palace is host to multiple museums and theaters, including the Museum of Technology, the Theater Circle of Friends and the Polish Army Museum. It also houses an observation deck at the 30th floor and a cultural center.
