Old Town Tallinn (or Vanalinn) is one of the best-preserved medieval cities in all of Europe. Not only is it filled with charming cobblestone streets, historic churches, and 17th-century townhouses, but it is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visitors can explore for hours, taking in the impact of this city. There are plenty of churches to find such as St. Olav’s Church, St. Nicholas Church, and the Great Coast Gate. There are also multiple museums, such as the Kiek in de Kök museum of artillery, the Estonian History Museum, and the Estonian Maritime Museum. Tourists can learn about the history and culture of Estonia. In the evenings, visitors can enjoy a variety of restaurants, cafes, and bars, as well as plenty of live music.
