Notre-Dame de Paris is an iconic 12th century cathedral in the heart of the City of Lights. This majestic Gothic landmark stands proudly on the banks of the Seine and is considered one of the best examples of French Gothic architecture in the world. As you wander around its cloisters you’ll find intricate carvings and decorations from the 800-year-old church. Inside you’ll be dazzled by the richly decorated rose window, stained glass and white sculptures. On the exterior of the building, you’ll find flying buttresses and gargoyles as high as 28m. Visit the Notre Dame Treasury Museum to learn about its fascinating history, and don’t forget to take in the delightful views of Paris from the top of its two impressive towers.
