INTERARTES

InterArtes is a contemporary art museum located in Essen, Germany. Located in the city's old university building, InterArtes houses an extensive collection of 20th and 21st century art, including paintings, photographs and sculpture. The exhibition rooms are arranged by theme, offering visitors an insight into how art has shaped and been shaped by cultural and socioeconomic changes. There are also special exhibitions that focus on the work of specific artists, art movements or historical periods. InterArtes also leads educational programs, lecture series and guided visits of the permanent collection. It features café, making it a great place to rest and relax after exploring the artwork. In addition, there is a small shop that sells books and other art-related items.
