Hoover Dam

Hoover Dam, an engineering marvel and one of the most impressive sights in USA, is situated on the border of Nevada and Arizona. Built in 1935, this 726-foot-tall dam stores Lake Mead, the largest reservoir in the US by volume. Tourists can take a guided tour inside the dam, or just marvel at its massive size from the viewpoint on the Arizona side of the reservoir. There are various recreation activities in the lake as well, such as boating and fishing. Nearby you can also visit the iconic Welcome to Las Vegas sign, a popular photo spot.
