Hangar 7

Hangar-7 is a privately-owned art and event space in Salzburg, Austria. It was opened in 2003 by Red Bull founder, Dietrich Mateschitz. The building houses a diverse collection of contemporary art, historical aircraft, luxury cars, and a restaurant/bar. It is a great place to get a different view of art, and to experience some of the history of aircraft and cars. The hangar also features yearly exhibitions, concerts, and lectures. You can take a guided tour of the hangar or explore the grounds at your own leisure. There is a unique photo opportunity with the unusual architecture and interesting objects. The Hangar is a must-see for any tourist in Salzburg.
