Fernmeldeturm in Mannheim, Germany is an iconic observation tower that is an impressive example of modern architecture. Standing at 250 feet tall, the Fernmeldeturm consists of a main block, which contains the service core, and a five-sectional cylindrical structure. The tower offers panoramic views of Mannheim and the surrounding area, and as on the highest point in Mannheim, it is a popular spot for sightseeing and photography. The observation platform, located at 125 feet above ground, can be accessed by elevator. The base of the Fernmeldeturm contains a restaurant and bar offering refreshments and meals.
