Elfin Lakes

Elfin Lakes is located in Squamish, BC, just 2 hours north of Vancouver. It's a great day-hike destination, located in Garibaldi Provincial Park. A moderate day hike of 10 km will take you to an alpine lake, two mountain shelters and spectacular mountain and ocean views. The trail generally starts at the Red Heather Meadows, with the first part of the hike relatively flat. As you climb, the views get more and more stunning, eventually reaching the two beautiful lakes at the top known as Elfin Lakes. There is also a campground, allowing overnight stays. There is no charge for day-use but overnight parking needs to be booked in advance. With its stunning views and easy access, Elfin Lakes is a great spot for both hikers and photographers!
