Cusco

Cusco is a historic city in Peru. It was once the capital of the Incan Empire and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is also known as the "Navel of the World", a reference to its strategic location in the Andean Mountains. Just outside Cusco is the stunning Jardín Sagrado (Sacred Garden), an oasis of tranquility in the midst of the city. The garden is filled with Incan sculptures, terraces, and water features, as well as a wide variety of plants indigenous to the region.
