
Church and Voortrek Street constitute a historic landmark in the small town of Swellendam, South Africa. It was built in the late 1700s and is the second oldest settlement in South Africa. The Church Street, located at the heart of Swellendam, is dominated by Dutch-style architecture, stretching from the old church towards the Voortrek Street, which is lined with more than fifty shops, galleries and restaurants. The street also hosts occasional events like the Swellendam Rally and the Swellendam Motor Show.
