Vilnius center

Vilnius is the largest city and the state capital of Lithuania. At its center is the ancient Gediminas Castle, a brick-and-stone fortress founded in the 14th century. The city is filled with stunning churches, palaces, and cobbled streets and squares. Gediminas Castle Tower, surrounded by a former convent, stands tall atop a hill. There are two cafes inside the former tower, giving visitors a stunning view of the city. The former convent, now a gallery, houses numerous historical artifacts and art exhibitions. Vilnius is also home to a plethora of museums, galleries and cultural events throughout the year. Vilnius Cathedral Square and nearby Church of St. Anne, St. Peter and St. Paul’s Church and Vilnius University make for great photo opportunities.
