Universal Music's Building

Universal Music's flagship building is located in the centre of Berlin, Germany, and is the headquarters of both UMG Germany and UMG Europe. It is located in a 100-year old building, once housing the Universal Music Publishing Group. It is steeped in music history, as many musicians and songwriters from around the world have worked in the building. The interior of the building serves as a testament to Universal Music’s commitment to creativity, featuring a two-story atrium that is filled with over 200 iconic pieces of art, modern workspaces and state-of-the-art sound studios. Also, UMG’s building features the ‘Music Factory Café’ which has become a social hub for the music community, hosting acoustic sessions and product launches.
