Suilven

Suilven, located in the Little Assynt area of Scotland, is known as one of the most iconic hills in Scotland. The mountain is popular amongst serious hillwalkers and experienced photographers. Despite being just 722 meters high, it has dramatic views from its top and along the winding, rocky path to its peak. The mountainside is famous for its quartzite sandstone rocks and slopes, and its characteristic pyramid shape is seen from a distance. The path to the peak includes sections of scrambling, which require the use of your hands in some areas. In clear days you might have a chance to spot some highland wildlife. The views from the top are breathtaking and will definitely make your journey worthwhile.
