St. Thomas Tower

The St. Thomas Tower in Wied il-Għajn, Malta serves as a reminder of Malta’s rich past as a fortified city. Built in 1614 by Grand Master Alof de Wignacourt, the tower has stood the test of time and remains a popular tourist attraction in the area. An imposing watchtower, it stands at the entrance to Marsa Creek, where pirates used to hide their ships.
