The Roman Forum Pillars are a series of enormous carved columns located in Roma, Italy. Originally built in the age of Emperor Augustus, the stone pillars are believed to be some of the oldest Roman monuments left standing in the city. They stand a remarkable 15 meters in height and are topped by Corinthian capitals. Despite the centuries of wear, the Pillars are still an impressive reminder of the Roman Empire’s reach throughout the city. Visitors can explore the pillars at their own pace and marvel at their immense size. The iconic pillars make a great backdrop for any photo of the Roman Forum.
