Pozán de Vero

Pozán de Vero is a small municipality in the comarca (regional unit) of Tierra de Campos, Castile and León province in northwest Spain. It is located about 18km East of the city of Valladolid and close to other villages such as Ciempozuelos and Fuente de los Ocho Ríos. It is famous for its Baroque church and for its medieval castle and mill. The village is surrounded by vineyards and fields, and offers breathtaking views of the countryside. It is also possible to take short treks around the village and the nearby countryside, with plenty of stops along the way. The village is known for its traditional cuisine, and hosts a local Gastronomic Festival in August each year. Pozán de Vero is a great base for exploring the surrounding areas, including nearby nature reserves and rural eco-hamlets, where visitors can experience the local culture.
