Nationale Nederlanden is a modern landmark Rotterdam has been known for since 1988. Located in the heart of the city, this famous office building was designed by Dutch architect and urban planner Jo Coenen and stands proudly above the city skyline. A unique sight, it has been called a "glass wave" due to its curved glass facades. It is sometimes referred to as "The Dome" due to its large curved roof, which is one of the largest of its kind in the world.
