Nachi Falls is the tallest waterfall in Japan and is its longest drop, consisting of three tiers that span a combined total of 133 metres (436 feet) into the valley below. The Seianto-ji Temple is a Shinto shrine that was built in 1525, and is one of the towns' most important spiritual places. The site features a number of religious buildings, as well as an impressive five-story pagoda, koi ponds and lush forested trails. Visitors to this temple can enjoy the serene atmosphere and see some breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. It's also popular among tourists visiting Japan for its culture and rich history.
