Lokken Bunkers are part of the Atlantikwall, Germany’s impressive coastal defense line of bunkers and other defensive structures. It was built during World War II to protect the country from possible invasion. It was completed in most places in 1943 and stretches from Norway to the Spanish border. Lokken Bunkers are situated on the sandy beaches of Løkken, Denmark and consist of reinforced concrete bunkers, pillboxes, and other defense structures.
