John Lennon Memorial

John Lennon Memorial is a public artwork dedicated to the legendary musician, located at The East Spectrum in Central Park, New York. On this site stands the Imagine mosaic, which was produced from over one hundred thousand tiles and is a tribute to Lennon’s iconic song, Imagine. Adjacent to the mosaic is the John Lennon Statue, with its bronze-cast silhouette of the musician seated on a park bench facing out at the skyline. The area also features a three-part audio exhibition that plays snippets of Lennon’s songs. This memorial provides an opportunity to acknowledge one of the greatest musicians of our time and to understand the inspiring legacy he left behind.
