John Day Fossil Beds National Monument - Sheep Rock Unit is located in Kimberly, Oregon, United States. It is part of the John Day Fossil Beds National Monument and is the best-preserved and largest unit in the Monument. The Sheep Rock Unit is popular for its amazingly well-preserved fossils and gorgeously colored layers of rock, strata and clay.
