The Black Forrest National Park is located in Germany and covers over 6,400 hectares of majestic forest. The diverse landscape within the park consists of deep gorges, wild meadows, streams and rivers, rolling hills, lush evergreen coniferous forest and the numerous plants. The Black Forest National Park is home to 7 species of wildcats, with the famous Lynx and wildcat in the North of the park; Roe deer, roe and red deer, wild boar and moufflon are common. There are also over 160 bird species present in the park. From elusive woodpeckers and shy nightjars, to the aerial acrobatics of the jay, you can observe any species during the breeding season.
