Cala Pilar

Cala Pilar is a small cove on the east coast of Ibiza, in the Spanish Balearic Islands. This secluded beach is famous for its crystal-clear turquoise waters and its soft golden sand. Steep cliffs lined with pine trees provide protection from the wind. Near the beach, is the small village of Santa Eulària des Riu. Points of interest include the Ancient Greek Temple of Santa Eulària des Riu and Hippy Market. Several water sports and activities like snorkeling and surfing can be enjoyed here. For some stunning views of the surrounding coast, take a boat tour. Visitors must take some precaution and wear sunscreen when at the beach as the sun in this area is very powerful.
