Vernazza is one of the five villages of the Italian Riviera which form the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Cinque Terre. It is a picturesque fishing village tucked away on a small bay along the dramatic Italian coastline. Vernazza has a maze of narrow streets lined with colourful buildings and painted boats lining the marina. It is a popular spot for travellers looking to relax and soak in the views. Visitors can get an amazing view of the village from the famous viewpoint at the top of the path leading up to the Church of Santa Margherita di Antiochia. There are also some amazing hiking trails in the area to explore. From Vernazza, it is easy to reach the nearby villages by train or the ferry service. A visit to Vernazza is the perfect spot to take picturesque photos of Italy’s most beautiful coastline and to experience life in a typical Italian village.

There are usually a lot of photographers taking pictures. Mainly at sunset. I recommend going with a lot of patience. I went in the middle of the COVID pandemic, where nobody was supposed to be, and there were approximately 6 photographers.
