The Great Dune of Pyla

The Great Dune of Pyla is the tallest sand dune in Europe revealed by Atlantic winds. It is located in the commune of La Teste-de-Buch, in the southwest of France, near Arcachon. It is a popular tourist destination due to its massive size and romantic views of the neighboring forest and beaches. There are pathways created especially for visitors to make it easier for them to reach the top. To the north of the sand dune lies the Pyla Lake, where visitors can take a refreshing swim. The area is also home to many diverse fauna and flora. If you're lucky, you may even spot a few deer and foxes while exploring the dune.
