Sonnenborgh Observatory

The Sonnenborgh Observatory (‘Sun Tower’) in Utrecht, Netherlands, is a historic building and monument located in the city center. It was initially build as part of Utrecht's city walls in 1628, and was used through the centuries as an observatory, a museum, and an archive. Today, it is a popular public observatory and part of the Utrecht University.
