The complex contains the tomb of a revered Sufi saint Ahmed Khattu Ganj Bakhsh, as well as tombs of his companions, a sun temple and a mosque. It is said to have been constructed in the late 15th century by Sultan Ahmed Shah. The complex is best known for its grand mosque, which has the typical features of a Gujarat style of construction, including an elegant horseshoe archway and ornamental decorations. The mosque’s main prayer hall is surrounded by two corridors that were constructed for the saints’ disciples and followers to meditate.
