Rottweil Test Tower

The Rottweil Test Tower is a remarkable structure, nestled in the town of Rottweil in Germany. It sits proudly at the top of the town and is one of the tallest structures in the area. From the tower's summit you can enjoy a breathtaking and far-reaching panoramic view of the surrounding countryside, including the Swabian and Black Forest and the Alps in the distance.

The tower is a unique structure, with its triangular modernized version of a castle tower. It was built in the 1930s to demonstrate high fall protection systems using falling bodies, a test which required a tremendous height. The test tower has been reconstructed since then and still stands strong, providing excellent opportunities for sightseeing, photography and more. There are four viewing platforms, giving visitors plenty of opportunities to take in the surrounding landscape and take lots of photos.
