Merria di Bunifaziu

Merria di Bunifaziu is a small port town in Bonifacio, France. Found on the balcony of the Mediterranean, it is just across a harbor inlet from the main Bonifacio town. Its origins date to the Iron Age and it is now a center of aquaculture. The town can be reached via a bridge over the inlet, and one can enjoy the rustic vibe that is unique to coastal life. The waterfront quay is the heart of town; a long line of fishing boats, yachts, and ships, serve as reminders of a seafaring heritage still alive in Bonifacio.
