📍 من Pont Kœnig, France
Pont Kœnig is a bridge located in Lyon, France. It is famously known as the Pont Wilson, due to it being used by French president Raymond Poincare during his visits to the city. The bridge was originally built in 1893 and was used for almost one century, until it was later renovated and reconstructed in 1993. Scale-wise Pont Kœnig is an impressive bridge, spanning over 250 meters in length and 25 meters in width. The structure is composed of a 150-meter wide bridge through the Rhône River, much of which is surrounded by historic surroundings, including some structures that were built as far back as the 18th century. Being one of the oldest bridges in the city, Pont Kœnig is a must-see for all visitors to Lyon. Here, visitors can find stunning views of the river, iconic structures, and a tranquil atmosphere.
