La Massana

The small mountain village of La Massana is situated in the northwest region of the Principality of Andorra. Highlights include the spectacular Pont de Sant Antoni, a 19th century bridge built of local pink stone, both islet and towers included. Visitors can take a walk from the bridge to the waterfall of Colomer. From the bridge you can see the area with its pretty mountain views and lush vegetation. An even better view is to be found on the nearby Roc de Cerdanya peak. Take a walk through the forests of El Madriu-Perafita-Claror for some good hikes, or go up the ski resorts for skiing during winter. In the middle of the mountain, you can see the old parish church, or the 16th century Ermita de Santa Tecla Chapel. You can rent some mountain bike and explore the area, or take a boat ride to explore further destinations.
