Felsentor am Weißensee

Felsentor am Weißensee, in Füssen, Germany, is a breathtaking rock formation situated on the lake of Weißensee, in the Bavarian Alps. The lake is surrounded by forests, mountains and meadows, making it a wonderful spot for photographers especially in summer and autumn months. The spires and towers of Felsentor, one of the most unique rock formations in the Alps, are best seen from the Observation Tower, located in the middle of the lake. From there, visitors can take in a beautiful view, as the sun rises and sets over the lake and the picturesque mountain range. In addition to the turret and spires, there is also an ancient path around the lake, for those that wish to explore the area on foot. Visitors can also explore the trails of nearby Schloß Neuschwanstein, and taste the traditional Bavarian fare in the town of Füssen. Felsentor am Weißensee is definitely a place worth visiting!
