Berliner Fernsehturm

Berliner Fernsehturm is one of the iconic landmarks of Berlin. It is a TV tower that stands 367 meters (1204 feet) high and is recognizable from most parts of the city. The observation deck of the tower is situated at 203 meters (668 feet) and offers spectacular views of Berlin and its surroundings up to 40 km away. The views over the city and the rivers Spree and Havel are especially impressive at night. The tower was built between 1965 and 1969. It also has a rotating restaurant called Sphere, which offers exquisite dishes with in-the-moment views of the city. The access to the observation deck and restaurant is through the Tower elevator, which travels at a speed of 6 m/s taking you to the desired level in only 40 seconds.
